  If you are only going to look at one site, let it be this one.  There are sites for all curriculum areas.  In Education Resources, there are lesson plans, classroom projects, teaching tools, and curriculum resources.  There are even some fun things to do.

About Elementary educators  Free lesson plans, art and crafts, language arts, math, science, social studies, assessment, special education and more.

Discipline Help  A Reference for: "Solutions for Handling 117 Misbehaviors". description, effects, actions, mistakes, and related behaviors for each misbehavior.  For teacher  and parents.

National Teacher Training Institute  Great tools for teachers. Online courses

Education World  Excellent site.  Weekly features.   ideas and reviews.  even a section for administrators.

PBS Teachers  The teachers site from Public Broadcasting

Funbrain  Great stuff for teachers, parents, and children

Free Worksheets  Worksheets for extra practice or homework.  There are even printable activities.

The Global Schoolhouse   Many current and archived projects on the web for classrooms.  Explains how to participate in projects. Many site links,  newsletters too.

Kidnews  Free news and writing service for students and teachers.  Anyone may submit, but it will be edited.

Kids Info  Site is full of other sites  for teachers, parents, and kids.  There is  wonderful  Homework Help and a very thorough on-line reference area.

KinderKorner  Great ideas and lesson plans for K-2.  Excellent  free teacher exchange through email, but if you sign up, sign up for Digest.

Kids Castle  Smithsonian Magazine for kids

Little Explorers  Picture Dictionary with 1486 illustrated entries.  When you click on the picture, it takes you to information and, often, a coloring picture to print.  This is Very Kid Safe!  There is an index of activities by subject for adults.

The Math Forum  Math lesson plans, lesson plan sites, problem  and puzzle sites, downloads for Mac or IBM, Internet puzzles, math newsletter archives.

Educations Articles  Great Education articles to help you in class.

Teach+nology Free worksheets that you can generate.  graphic organizers and rubrics, critical thinking, early childhood, language arts, math, research skills, and science.

Teachers First  Many professional Resources.  Web links and lesson plans for various subjects, elementary,  middle school and high school.

Teachnet  This has some lesson plans, but the site gets five stars for the teacher 2 teacher ideas such as ways to vary your spelling practice and new ways to do book reports.

TEAMS Distance Learning  This is an incredible site.  If you click on K12 lesson plans, the following subjects will appear:  Mathematics, Science, History/Social Science, Language Arts, the Arts, and Multi-subject Lesson Plans.  Click on any of these and a multitude of links appear.

Educator's Reference Desk Over 1000 lesson plans K-12.  arts, technology, foreign language, health,  interdisciplinary, language arts, math, P.E., science, and social studies.

Exploratorium  Amazing science demonstrations that allow for student participation.  Also  quite a nice site library.

 Jan Brett  If you use Jan Brett books with your kids, this is the site for you.  Go to the site map.  There are lessons, activities, an alphabet, numbers, coloring pages and more.

Kindercrafts  Great craft ideas for preschool through elementary.  clear directions and templates.

Learning Page K-3.  Click on theme sheets - simple but thorough fact sheets on Ocean animals, zoo animals, dinosaurs, reptiles,  and amphibians.

Mathbuilder  100s of free math worksheets.

Teaching Ideas from Britain Ages 5-11.  Lots of great ideas for fun activities to reinforce English, math, science, history, art, PE, and time fillers.

Kindergarten Resources  Lesson plans for Kindergartners - includes books, web sites, songs, activities, and recipes.

Zoom Dinosaurs  Facts, quizzes, pictures, games

Lesson Plans for Technology  Lesson plans using the computer to help reinforce lessons for preschool to high school. Not very  organized.
